Mining
The Orange Region has become a hot spot for mining activity. The Cadia East Mine Development through Newcrest Mining employs more than 900 people, and the newly established Regis Resources in Blayney will further support the region. This doesn’t even include the services that support the mining industry such as construction, engineering, transport, government, health, accommodation and more.
Health
It is argued the Orange Region is the hub of medical and health expertise outside Sydney.
