The scenic region of the Blayney Shire is located 3 ½ hours from Sydney and Canberra. Blayney Shire also has one of the most advanced livestock facilities in Australia. The Central Tablelands Livestock Exchange (CTLX) at Carcoar is one of the largest in NSW catering for all stock exchanges across this region of NSW. CTLX provides the Central Tablelands Region with a state-of-the-art livestock auction facility.

  • -Food Manufacturing – Blayney Shire is the ideal location to develop the latest in food processing facilities directly aimed at exporting food to international markets. Nestlè is expanding its Purina factory to incorporate a greater demand in dog food supplies.
  • -Transport – Blayney is the ideal location for transport companies relocating to cover access to other States and be accessible to Sydney and Parkes inland rail.
