Getting to the Orange Region
The central location is one of the key advantages of living in the Orange Region. Well serviced by plane, train and bus services, the area is also an easy drive from Sydney or Canberra within 3 ½ hours.
Orange Regional Airport is a transport hub for the Central West, providing daily passenger connections with Sydney and passenger flights to Brisbane and Melbourne.
The XPT service departs every day from Sydney Central Station in addition to other daily train/bus services including Australia Wide Coaches who offer a luxury coach service from Sydney to Orange and return.
Getting Around the Orange Region
There are a range of commercial bus and taxi services that operate in and between towns within the Orange Region. There are also community transport schemes in place to cater for all transport needs.
